The Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park defines its geographical situation along with two other National Parks: Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta, Canada and the Glacier National Park in Montana in the United States.
Alberta and Saskatchewan were neighbourly to this heritage site; Edmonton is the capital of Alberta, and Calgary is its largest city; Alberta means Mt Albourg whose other name-forms are Alaba, Alavi, Olbe/Oleb, Elbe, and Alps; this mountain was most sacred to the ancient people where Yaksha Alavaka was living. it is connected with the history of Romulus and Remus of ancient Rome.
According to Unesco, ‘The property occupies a pivotal position in the Western Cordillera of North America…The biogeographical significance of this tri-ocean divide is increased by the many vegetated connections between the headwaters….’. It is called ‘Crown of the Continent’ ecosystem. The Flathead River system forms the western and southern boundaries of Glacier National Park .
Waterton—It means Uttarayana, or Northern Movement of the Sun; it may mean Ararto or Utarto that identifies the deified region of Uttara Kuru(Ottorokorrah or Ptolemy) which includes Luz, Bethany, Galilee, Elephantine, Rachel’ Tomb, Jerusalem and Kamboj or Champa. The root of Ottoman is in Uttara Kuru which also refers to the kingdom of Utnapishtim of Gilgamesh epic.
Saskatchewan— or Saskat-chewan; while Saskat means ‘Saketa’ or Eschate; –chewan refers to Yue-chi people; it may mean ‘Kua’ or the Crow people; scholars see it as Kisiskaciwani-sipiy(‘swift flowing river’); Kisiska seems to suggest a name like Kaniska, a king of Yue-chi tribe; ciwani means ‘Kuha’ people of Saketa.
Edmonton—-It refers to people or Aden or Uden and their settlement in Aden; later historians knew it as Odantapuri;
Calgary—It is as same as Kaligula or Kaligali; its is synonymous with karigari means ‘workmanship’ or metal workers.
Athabasca—-it means ‘Athasa’ or Atharban people’s settlements; it may refer to Medicine people(sca) of Atharvan clan/area;
Banff—Perhaps it refers to Banabasi people or their settlement;
Canmore—It is identical with Kanhei, the geographical landmass which has a shoulder(pipe)-like shape near the seacoast at Triveni.
Sylan Lake—It means Sri-Ranga Lake which identifies the ancient sacred Triveni; it may mean ‘Sullam, ancient Jerusalem.
Lake Louise—Louise is as same as Loi or Rohi(also Rai) people ; they were considered as a royal clan;
Cree tribe—It means people staying in Cree or Sri or See region;
Dene tribe—It refers to Doma/Dena tribe;
Nunavut—Nuna is a corrupt name os Nana, the male priest; vut is vati or vasti which means ‘his place of residence’. Nanavati is a title;
Manitoba—Mani was name of a Naga King or Serpent King; toba means ‘settlement’ or his place of residence; it may mean his tahia or crown;
