Estonia’s world heritage site of Tallinn is another wonderful heritage site of human civilization that speaks loudly of ancient migrants’ hometown story in truthful language of history.
The name Qlwn or Qalaven which is found in the Map of Almoravid by Muhammad al-Idrisi refers to Koili-vana means ‘Koili’ forest or the forest of the Peacocks; Almoravid is Almora-vati or Amaravati of history; it identifies the royal Koliyans’ strongholds at Sri_Koili or Coili or Coli of Ptolemy; Astland’s towns are differently located though not far away from this seat of the Koliyans; Astlanda is identified with Asta means ‘Eight’ towns, and this ancient land is now represented by the present Estonia through the memory of the ancient migrants. Neither Kolyvan nor Raavely are identified with the present Tallinn but together they were a part of the primordial geographical situation of the ancient Tallinn. The latter stands for biblical Tolla which was then situated near Tunya in Ptolamais, It was one of the seats of learning of the ancient world. Revali marks Revat, same as Reba or Raivat and Revati, name of a great monk, a mountain, a king, a sacred place, and a star. Revat was also the name of the fifth of the twenty-four Buddhas; his father and mother both were known by one name Vipula. Kaley was not a mythical King; he was a Naga or a Serpent King who is identified with the Serpent Plain or the Negev of the Bible; his seat of administration was at Kalais, as same as Kali of other literature. It can be seen through the name of Kaliya of Indian puranic tradition.
Different place-names attached with this heritage site Tallinn refer to the ‘whole’ of the ‘inhabited world’ itself; two names here need to be mentioned: Nisa and Kopli. While Nisa is as same as Nysa of Alexander’s historians, Kopli is Kapila or Kophe of ancient history. These two names are found in most of the ancient texts and they both hold the geographical situation of the ‘inhabited world’ at two different points.
The largest Lake Ulemiste, Lake Hurke, Pirita River in Pirita, Harjapea River, street names like Joe(Jogi) and Kivisilla; Toompea(means Tumba/Tombapani), Lasname and Astangu, the highest point Hiiu in Nomme district, Paljassaare, Viimsi and Kakumae peninsulas, and public beaches like Pikakari, Stromi and Kakumae are names which collectively trace the original homelands of the migrants’ who raised their ‘second-homes’ in Estonia after being forced by the volcanic eruptions to leave their original homes.
