According to Unesco,’ The upland landscapes of the Causses have been shaped by agro-pastoralism over three millennia. In the Middle Ages, the development of cities in the surrounding Mediterranean plains, and especially the growth of religious institutions, prompted the evolution of a land structure based on agro-pastoralism, the basis of which is still in place today..’.

Causses refers to the ancient Kosis; they were then under the royal house of Kusi or Kusa, one of the two sons of Rama. There were six regions including ancient Babylon and Sana and these regions were then found mostly in the region of Mt Caucasus. Seat of worship of Kasyapa or Caspo or Kaspeira existed within this geographical region.

To the south-east of Kosi was Cevennes which means the land of the Sage Chyabana, a minor Prophet of the Old Testament.

Scholars see Celtic origin of the name Cevennes, and find its root in Gaulish Cebenna; Strabo’s Cemmenon does not mean Cevennes as scholars claim. This name is related to the land of the Lotuses where Tsefany’s name has been mentioned.

Region of Cevennes includes the granite mountain called as Mont Lozere. This region contains a number of rivers including the river Tarn whose source is in this Mont Lozere and which flows through the George du Tarn in the Causses. Name Lozere refers to ancient Luz or the seat of worship of the goddess Lanji;

It is most interesting to see the names of nine departments of Cevennes and their ancient counterparts where name of the river Ganga is seen along with Aude’s as same as Oudh/Yudheya means Ajodhya. Gargantua means the ancient Gargi (Gorges) people who were then living on the bank of the river Ganges. They were a royal people then; Esdras A and Esdras B of the Old Testament identifies these people.

The Averne Confederation was a concept of people who were living around the Lotuses region; it included the region around the Nile river. There was no fear from the Roman people as observed by the scholars. It was a region that was just neighbourly to the region of Troy. It was due to loss of crops and loss of agricultural and the grazing lands that created chaotic condition for the shepherds. This led to movement of people from one region to the other with their cattle. Gaul, Ruteni(on the west), Gabali(north), Volcae Arecomici(south), Helvii(south-east), and the Vellavi in the northeast) describes in detail the geographical situations of the land around the Lotus region of the ancient world of the 3rd c B.C.. It covers the whole of the Negev.

Academic scholarship finds tranhumance in Cenvennes region, and Ganges region, scholars point out, was the seat of such human settlements. Name ‘La Roque Aynier’ is considered as same as the name Ganges; and this is important because Roque refers to Ruk or Arka region and Aynier means the Rock Aornos, of Alexander’s Bridge over the Indus.

Alexander’s historians have written on it ; this is again as same as Rock Aruna and it means Surya or the City of the Sun.

Presence of Magdalenian peoples  around 17,000-12,000 B.C. which has been suggested in this region refers only to the ancient Magdalene or the land of Mrigdale or Mrigasthala or the Deer Park of Buddha’s time. It was a place in the ancient Magadha as same as Megiddo of the Bible. To find out Mediterranean France of 7000 B.C. as rearing sheep is completely incorrect.

Unless all the names associated with the legend and ancient literature is fully conceived with and within a single and compact geographical situation, it is very difficult to believe the migrants’ naming of their second settlements elsewhere after the deluge.

Bougon—Bou-gon or ‘Bo’ gaon;

Puechs—Pue-chs refers to Pika or the Coil region; it may mean Puy region also;

Turc—Takka rregion; it does not mean ancientTurkistan but Taxila or Takshasila;

Rabelais—City of Rabi means the Sun

Blandas—Brindas;

Nemausus—Nem-ausus / Nemi kingdom and the region of Asi near it.

Lasura—La-Sura means the Sura region

Gabalis—Gambhari region/Gobi-sthan

Gevaudan—Geva-Udan/

Florac means ancient Baal-ark; it is a combination of two place-names: Baal and Ark. And this shows how country of Luz, seat of worship of Baal and Ark were neighbourly to each other. Ark here shows the land of the Israelites also. Cham des Bondons identifies the country of the Bandas, or the Pandions. It has various other name-forms like Bandhula which then existed near Luz. The latter also identifies Bethlehem. Cham is a corrupt name for Chann; it may mean the country of Champa. Occitan which is exactly the name for Occi-tan or Arka–sthan means the City of Sun means the Karnan of the Egyptian mythology. Carnata and Carnak or Canaan of the Bible means the same place. Menhirs identifies the Mt Manohara. 154 menhirs of the heritage site identify the ancient hometown of the people of Mahar/Mahali/Mihir/Mihr. Bethany is as same as Luz but does not mean Carnac. Alexander visited this place. It is wrong to consider the menhirs of granite as megalithic monuments in Europe. The placement of these stones are never indicative of the either the Neolithic or the Bronze Age period. Mehirs which are considered as the oldest human monument in the France identify the people of Mahirs or the Mihirs, a royal class people of the ancient time.
